A individual charged with harassing Kate McCann apparently deposited her a recorded message which asked: "imagine I am Madeleine?"
The defendant, 24, who a jury heard has persistently claimed she was the disappeared Madeleine McCann, and her co-defendant are on trial charged with stalking Kate and Gerry McCann between June 2022 and February this year.
On Monday, the tribunal heard communication data and information obtained from phones logged Ms Wandelt persistently asking Madeleine's mother for a DNA test throughout the past two years.
Madeleine's vanishing in 2007 - at the age of three during a trip in Portugal - is one of the most widely reported investigations and remains unsolved.
A separate voicemail, played in court, recorded Ms Wandelt stating: "I understand I'm fat and not pretty like Madeleine used to be, but I believe what I feel."
While one recording of Ms Wandelt's monologues with Mrs McCann's answerphone stated: "What if there is a small chance that I am Madeleine? Then what? Isn't that crucial for you?"
"I am not seeking money, I maintain a living here in Poland, I just want to understand," the recording stated.
The tribunal was advised that via emails, text messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt demanded a genetic test, transmitted youth pictures to her phone in a effort to show a likeness to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and stated to have "flashbacks" from a early life with the McCanns.
An intelligence analyst, a data specialist with Leicestershire Police who gathered the information, told the court there "didn't appear to be any replies" from Mrs McCann.
Ms Wandelt furthermore contacted close associates of the McCanns, according to the phone records.
On 9 October 2024, Gerry McCann picked up a call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "a wrong number."
During that incident Ms Wandelt recorded a recording on Mrs McCann's recording saying "I will persist and I plan to establish my claim."
The court learned Mrs Spragg developed a association through digital means with Ms Wandelt preceding joining her on a appearance to the McCanns' residence in the county in that winter.
Phone records revealed Mrs Spragg had communicated using WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to express the news outlets had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "a crazy person" but that she should be treated respectfully in the months preceding the trip to Rothley, that area, in that winter.
The court was told message exchanges between the two accused, in that autumn, considering attempting to obtain Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her bins or from utensils at a restaurant.
"We must assert ourselves," Mrs Spragg informed Ms Wandelt.
On the evening of the visit to their house, Mrs Spragg dispatched a text which expressed: "We're currently sitting near the McCanns' home with our vehicle dark resembling detectives. I had hoped to achieve this with another person I never thought I would be engaged in this with the McCanns."
The case continues.
